Tsundzukani Hlungwane
Founder & CEO

My passion for wildlife has been a constant in my life since childhood, growing naturally and without labels. Over the years, my journey—though long and challenging—led me to become a certified Tracker, Field Guide, and Trainer. These experiences ignited my dream to instill a deep understanding of wildlife conservation in the younger generation. I aim to educate them about the vital role of wildlife and the detrimental effects our actions can have on the environment. Through awareness and education, I hope to inspire the uprising generation to protect and preserve our natural world.

Tshili Sibiya
Administration Manager & Facilitator

My commitment to supporting sustainable human life and wildlife conservation through the Our Responsibility initiative was ignited by a transformative visit to the Kruger National Park. Having recently graduated as a Legal Assistant, I ventured to Kruger National Park, where I was deeply moved by the plight of endangered wildlife species. I was struck by the harsh reality that underprivileged children living near the Kruger National Park and Sabi Sands Nature Reserve were increasingly turning to poaching as a means of survival. This experience inspired my goal to raise awareness about these issues and to build a bridge between communities and conservation efforts. By fostering awareness and encouraging sustainable practices, I hope to create a positive impact for both human and wildlife communities.

Rowan Scelo Mhlanga
Head Facilitator & Program Coordinator

From a young age, my passion for training and conservation was ignited by the experiences I had during our pre-school day visits to the Kruger National Park. These excursions allowed us to witness the beauty and majesty of wild animals in their natural habitat. We were taught about the importance of these animals and their roles in the ecosystem. Upon returning home, I had a revelation. I realized that the very same animals I marveled at in the park were the ones I could see around my home, yet I knew so little about them. This lack of understanding made me aware of how my actions and those of others could negatively impact these magnificent creatures. It was a turning point for me. I became determined to bridge this knowledge gap and make a difference. I decided to dedicate myself to educating others about the significance of wildlife and the importance of conservation. By sharing my knowledge and experiences, I hope to foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of these animals, encouraging others to take responsibility for their protection and preservation. Through training and conservation efforts, we can create a more harmonious relationship between humans and wildlife, ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy and benefit from the incredible biodiversity that surrounds us.

Creating a Supportive Learning Environment at Tiyimeleni Primary School My primary focus at Tiyimeleni Primary School is to ensure that students are in a nurturing and supportive space where they can thrive academically and personally. I actively track student performance and backgrounds, working closely with Our Responsibility to provide the necessary support and opportunities for their growth. The most rewarding moments in my day come when children stop by to say "hi" and eagerly share their dreams with me. Their enthusiasm and aspirations inspire me every day, reinforcing the importance of creating an environment where they feel heard, valued, and empowered.
